WHAT IS TEPAL?

TEPAL (Organization of Telecommunication Associations and Companies for Latin America), was founded in September 1992. The head office of the Organization is in Panama City, Republic of Panama.

Tepal Members

TEPAL groups 11 Companies and 12 Associations of Telecommunication and Paid Television that belong to 16 different countries. The Organization Statutes demand that the Member Associations and Companies are Telecommunication and Paid Television Operators and that they pay for the rights of the programming they broadcast in the systems they operate, thus observing legitimate proprietary rights.

TEPAL assists its Member Associations and Companies, Programmers and Equipment, Products and Services Suppliers, with the aim of improving the quality of service offered to Telecommunication and Paid Television Users in Latin America.

Tepal Expo Convention

TEPAL organizes an Annual Expo Convention, which allows the participants to initiate close relations, renew and broaden their Business connections. The conventions consist of Conferences and Forums about relevant subjects of Telecommunication and Paid Television Industry. Jointly, there are Exhibition Areas for Satellite Channels, Equipment, Products and Services related to this industry and the Broad Band Multimedia Services available according to the progress of Technology.
